About Climate Bonds Initiative

Climate Bonds Initiative (Climate Bonds) is an international not-for-profit organisation working to mobilise global capital for climate action and grow a credible finance market aligned with a 1.5°C pathway and resilient economies. Our work spans science-based sector criteria, Paris-aligned taxonomies, standards and certification, market intelligence, investor networks, research, technical assistance, and policy advisory in nearly 30 countries.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to work directly with the Chief Investment Officer. This is a dynamic role with high exposure to organisational strategy, investor engagement, and cross-functional operations. You will help shape and deliver Climate Bonds’ 2026–2030 strategy while supporting the growth of our fundraising and investment activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and deliver strategic projects end-to-end, with a focus on implementing our 2026–2030 strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and commercial teams to drive firm priorities.
  • Develop and manage investor communications and fundraising materials, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Enhance internal processes and data systems to support organisational growth and efficiency.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years’ experience in consulting, startups, venture capital, or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to structure and solve problems.
  • High comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, hands-on approach to wearing multiple hats.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Passion for impact, with a strong interest in climate action and sustainable finance.

Benefits

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary depending on experience level.
  • A front-row seat in a fast-scaling, mission-driven organisation.
  • Direct exposure to the management team and strategic decision-making.
  • Opportunities to grow into a leadership role as we scale.
  • Remote-first work environment, with a central London HQ available for in-person days as needed (or regular office work if preferred).
