Position Title: Teller Supervisor
Reports To: Senior Branch Manager
General Purpose:
Serves as the teller supervisor in order to drive sales and customer service by coaching and developing staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Coaching the team to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, and the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen customer relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
- Maintaining knowledge and educating team on all products, services, technology and policies.
- Managing the operations of the branch and ensuring adherence to all operations, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.
- Hires, supervises, motivates, evaluates, communicates and deals effectively with staff.
- Handles customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries.
- May have the responsibility of operating in a standalone building or may operate as a team in a larger office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- At least 1 year of banking experience is required
- High School Diploma is required
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
