Position Title: Teller Supervisor

Reports To: Senior Branch Manager

General Purpose:

Serves as the teller supervisor in order to drive sales and customer service by coaching and developing staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching the team to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, and the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen customer relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
• Maintaining knowledge and educating team on all products, services, technology and policies.
• Managing the operations of the branch and ensuring adherence to all operations, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.
• Hires, supervises, motivates, evaluates, communicates and deals effectively with staff.
• Handles customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries.
• May have the responsibility of operating in a standalone building or may operate as a team in a larger office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• At least 1 year of banking experience is required
• High School Diploma is required

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
