Job Overview:

 

The Brand Ambassador, Craft will be responsible for leading education, advocacy, and commercial activation for the Rémy Cointreau portfolio in Chicago. This role is program-heavy, requiring strong execution of masterclasses, staff trainings, and brand experiences, while also translating influence into commercial impact through menu features, placements, and distribution. 

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, opportunity-driven, and highly connected within the local hospitality community. They excel at commanding a room, inspiring trade partners, and collaborating with distributor and sales teams to ensure advocacy translates into measurable business results.

This position is based in Chicago and reports to the Advocacy Director.

Brands: Rémy Martin 1738, Cointreau, The Botanist, Mount Gay, Westland, Bruichladdich, and other portfolio brands (excluding Louis XIII).

***The salary range for this role based in New York is $90,000- $100,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to, relevant experience, business sector, and geographic location.***

Job Responsibilities:

 

Activation & Advocacy

  • Lead impactful trainings, masterclasses, and education sessions for trade, distributor partners, and staff.
  • Build relationships with 50–75 key on-premise accounts to expand brand visibility and advocacy.
  • Execute KPI’s with target brands in specific accounts that locally identify with each brand
  • Drive recruitment and participation in localized experiential programs.
  • Act as the in-market face of the portfolio, building excitement and influence within the Chicago bar and restaurant community.
  • Drive menu placements and features year-round on all brands within portfolio that cater to local market trends and specific accounts
  • Increase brand visibility based on account level needs
  • Create opportunities locally to best represent the RC portfolio

Commercial Growth

  • Influence sales by driving menu placements, features, and distribution in target accounts.
  • Partner with distributor and RCUSA sales teams on account planning, activation, and KPI delivery.
  • Proactively grow the business by aligning brand programming with commercial opportunities.
  • Analyze local sales data and trends to uncover growth opportunities.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Manage budgets, POS allocation, expenses, and activation resources with accountability.
  • Submit weekly pre-plans, monthly recaps, and quarterly reviews highlighting successes and opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM reporting, sales tracking, and program recaps.


Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in on-premise sales, advocacy, or trade marketing.
  • Strong connections and credibility within Chicago’s hospitality/bar community.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills; able to energize and influence audiences.
  • Marketing or event activation experience a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset; thrives on challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Computer savvy; proficient in CRM systems, reporting, and expense management tools.
Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and solicitor’s permit (as required by law).
