Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

  • Responsible for administering the licensing and credentialing process for all clinic providers.
  • Completes state licensing, insurance provider, and medical staff privilege applications for TOC providers in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains CMEs for physicians.
  • Coordinates with physicians, physician-licensing authorities, hospitals, and other outside agencies.
  • Obtains limited primary source information as needed for outside primary source verification.
  • Oversees medical malpractice application process.
  • Assists in the physician’s claims process and maintains relevant files/records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $25.56-$34.58 per hour.

Workdays: This role is located at the Central Administration office. Occasional Hybrid/Remote work is available once training is completed and expectations are met. Must live in SW Washington or the Portland area to come on-site to support projects as needed. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, full-time at 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of previous credentialing experience and a Certified Professional Credentials Specialist (CPCS) is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
