Job Description:

Starting wage is based on experience and shift.  In addition to a base wage, every associate is eligible for quarterly profit sharing!! Various shifts are available and off shifts include additional shift differential pay.

Job Profile Summary:  The Customer Service Support position will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. The position is located in Hebron, KY and will report to Customer Repair Manager. The role performs administrative duties required in Customer Service, including customer contact through email or by phone, processing and shipping firearms and record keeping.

            Essential Job Duties:

  • Respond to daily telephone and email inquiries.
  • Maintain a positive professional attitude and listen attentively to customer needs.
  • Maintain Customer confidentiality.
  • Use technical knowledge to provide guidance to customers over the phone.
  • Use computer software including Oracle, Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Process payments for service/replacement orders.
  • Know and follow the state laws as well as the federal regulations issued by the   Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of customer and Kanban firearms.
  • Participate in training as mandated by OSHA standards.

  • Ability to communicate detailed and important information to others accurately
  • Ability to work well under pressure and must be able to multitask
  • Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule to meet goals
  • Proficiency with computer software including Oracle, Orbit Reporting, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Experience in continuous improvement activities including the implementation of improvements
  • Ability to work without direct daily supervision.
  • Possess solid working knowledge of Ruger® firearms.
  • Able to deal effectively with the public.

Physical Demands:

Associates are frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position can involve sitting, walking and lifting up to 40 pounds several times throughout the day.  Job requires substantial movement/motion with regard to walking, bending, lifting, grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs at various times throughout each shift

Requirements:

  • You must be a minimum of 18 years old, and able to pass both a background and drug screen.
  •  FOLLOW ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES WHEN HANDLING FIREARMS
