POSITION: Admissions Operations Associate (FT)
Effective immediately: (FT) Admissions Operations Associate, Admissions Department, Wilmington University
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, business management, or technology, and a master’s degree is preferred. Minimum one to three years’ experience working in admissions, higher education or in some type of student support capacity. Must have excellent communication, customer service skills, and organization skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Banner, Recruit CRM, or other student information systems is preferred. Familiarity with email communications plan strategies and two-way texting platforms are preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation is necessary. Must demonstrate respect for diversity in the workplace and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Responsible for processing all admissions-related documents for specific graduate programs and specific undergraduate programs. This includes processing applications, paper and electronic transcripts and other admissions required documents such as test scores, recommendation letters and other documents.
- Scan and link all admissions-related documents utilizing an electronic document management program and the student information system Banner and Recruit CRM.
- Maintain accurate records for designated undergraduate and graduate programs. This includes using the university’s student information system and CRM to update document statuses, update majors and audit data entry efforts.
- Work closely with administrative staff and program chairs/advisors in specific colleges to maintain and provide accurate records of incoming applicants.
- Communicate with prospective and new applicants to provide support surrounding admissions procedures and program requirements. This includes multi-channel communications with potential and new students. This also includes a close collaborative effort with the corresponding Admissions team members to provide a seamless experience for prospective students (ex: identifying communication plan gaps and opportunities, web enhancements, and collaboration with faculty for increased applicant engagement).
- Responsible for maintaining data audits and summary reports for incoming applicants and new students of specific programs. This includes managing specific tasks that relate to data integrity improvements, auditing of CRM data, and identifying opportunities to improve data quality. This includes determining possible enrollment trends and working closely with the managers and Senior Director to increase conversion rates.
- Facilitate different trainings for new or existing staff within Admissions or other departments.
- Participate in any training sessions offered at sites or within the Admissions Department as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Admissions Manager, and/or the Senior Director of Admissions.
Hours of Employment: Generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The candidate must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and/or the University. (Some early mornings, nights, and/or weekends will be required.)

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
