Join Fintech in Tampa as a Distributor Sales Specialist Intern!

The Distributor Sales Specialist Intern will support the Distributor Sales Team by identifying and developing distributor relationships, assisting with onboarding new Fintech Portal DEFT retailers, and helping existing DEFTs transition to the portal. This role will also provide exposure to account management functions, including relationship building, project tracking, and CRM usage.

  • Duration: 6 months, with potential for full-time employment

Essential Functions

  • Identify DEFT relationship opportunities based on qualifying criteria.
  • Establish communication with DEFT retailers and explain Fintech’s value proposition.
  • Assist in onboarding new distributor customers and support migration to the Fintech Portal.
  • Collaborate with assigned distributor regions and take direction from leadership.
  • Understand specific operations of distributor customers and support their business needs.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Update records and databases in Salesforce to ensure distributor contact information is current.
  • Support distributor customer needs within the Fintech organization and elevate concerns when necessary.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or currently pursuing a degree.
  • Experience or interest in the beverage industry, distributor management, or sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
