Description

The Development & Marketing Coordinator will support the advancement and visibility of a nonprofit organization that provides support, education, and therapy services to children and families. This position plays a key role in donor engagement, fundraising operations, and marketing communications. The coordinator will manage donor database systems, assist with campaigns and events, and create compelling stories about the organization’s impact.

  1. Manage and maintain the donor database ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and timely gift entry.
  2. Create/update and generate acknowledgement letters, donor reports, and mailing lists.
  3. Track payments/produce monthly reminders for Miracle for Children Society Members and other pledged gifts.
  4. Process volunteer applications and clearances and track hours/ of volunteers.
  5. Create and send monthly e-newsletters from department.
  6. Visit a campus weekly/work with all campus marketing liaison and program team to create multi-media content (short videos, photo stories, graphics) to highlight campus activities, program successes, and donor impact.
  7. Assist in video production and video editing.
  8. Support the production/graphic design of marketing materials, event collateral, and promotional items.    
  9. Order and keep an inventory of promotional materials ready for use/coordinate other marketing material ordering and delivery.  
  10. Design and maintain an annual organizational calendar of donor stewardship and marketing activities and strategies that advance annual donors. This includes events, tours, social media calendar, stewardship reports, etc.
  11. Maintain designated KPI and other required reports.
  12. Attend and assist in the coordination of special events (i.e. Gala, Poker, Breakfast) and community engagement events.
  13. Perform administrative duties as needed including filing, copying, sorting, mailing, etc.
  14. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Prefer bachelor’s degree in marketing, Design, Digital Media, Communications, non-profit management, or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:

 

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating social media content and blogs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms; experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator) and donor management systems a plus.  Interest/willingness to learn other programs (training will be provided)
  • Experience in video production is preferred.
  • Storyteller—Able to tell the story of UCP in effective, creative, and innovative ways.
  • Results Driven – able to focus on achieving targeted results.
