Client Service Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Client Service Specialist to join our team. The Client Service Specialist will be responsible for maintaining data integrity by properly setting up sales deals in the CRM platform (EDGEonDemand), preparing bid sheets, contracting, and enrollment of customers. They will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, assisting with data integrity, and providing general administrative support to the operations team. The candidate will be responsible for managing electricity and natural gas accounts in all deregulated territories.  This role also includes responsibilities related to interdepartmental communication and processes that reach beyond operations to ensure superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to work collaboratively with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

    

Duties/Responsibilities:

  

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations activities and databases.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for the Director-Procurement Operations, Principals, and Director-Energy Markets.
  • Handle inquiries and communications from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the procurement process by liaising with vendors and managing data integrity. 
  • Help streamline operational processes and improve efficiency where possible.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. 
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness. 
  • Assist in conducting research and gathering data for operational analysis.
  • Aid in the preparation of reports and presentations for management meetings.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Director- Procurement Operations, Principals, and Director-Energy Markets as needed.
  • Enhance Operations processes for sales success. 
  • Liaison to all utilities for updates, creating ESIID’s, Permit issues.  
  • Client and Stakeholder support: Handling client inquiries and correspondence, preparing client proposals, nurture and build essential supplier relationships; resolve issues as they arise; maintain customer relationship. 
  • Work on any other requests that the Director, Procurement Operations from time to time may need.  


Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in administration, operations management, accounting, or other related fields preferred.  
  • Retail energy provider experience preferred (ERCOT and PJM Markets)
  • Experience with complex processes and personnel management. 
  • Experience with EDGEonDemand.com CRM a plus.
