Overview:
The Division Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing operations, driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and leading cross-functional teams within a designated geographic area. This role requires strong leadership, sales, business development, and organizational skills. The Division Sales Manager ensures alignment with company objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, sales objectives and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Account Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Conduct client visits, meetings, and educational events (e.g., breakfast & learns) to foster engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Proactively communicate with clients via phone, text, or in-person to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze account and sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and metrics.

Sales Leadership & Business Development:

  • Lead efforts to generate new business through warm calling, referrals, and lead follow-ups.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to convert leads and close new opportunities.
  • Drive strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue across the division.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients by providing detailed overviews of services and offerings.

Operational Oversight & Driver Coordination:

  • Oversee delivery operations to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Support delivery operations, including stepping in to make deliveries when necessary.
  • Train and support new contract drivers on operational procedures and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate input of delivery routes and orders into logistics systems.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with independent and contract drivers.

Customer Experience & Issue Resolution:

  • Act as the primary escalation point for customer inquiries within the division.
  • Resolve client issues with urgency, professionalism, and thorough follow-through.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and support strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, operations, sales, or regional management roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while managing multiple priorities.
  • Data-driven with the ability to interpret analytics and drive strategic improvements.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., ActiveCampaign) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license with the flexibility to travel as needed within the division.
