Summary:
The National Director (ND) will oversee the network of Regional Directors (RDs), who oversee the Area Coordinators (ACs) and Local Coordinators (LCs), who recruit host families (HFs) and host schools to participate in Greenheart High School Programs, which include FLEX and YES (Grant) programs and short-term inbound high school exchange (STP).
The ND will collaborate with other Greenheart teams and departments to ensure that the field network has what they need to successfully make quality placements; this includes, but is not limited to: thorough training, up to date resources and procedures, coaching and support. The ND will foster professional and effective collaboration between the field leaders and Program Support. It is the ND responsibility to ensure all placements are done on time and that communication regarding the programs is fluid and smooth.
The ND will also manage pre-arrival, high level communication with sending partners regarding participants' placements. This includes but is not limited to addressing questions re: placement matches.
In addition, the ND and their team will promote all Greenheart programs, especially the Teach USA and Greenheart Travel programs.
Requirements, qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Regional Manager or Director in the BridgeUSA Exchange Visitor High School program. Applicants without prior experience in the industry will not be considered.
- Strong leadership skills and attitude – being able to organize, motivate and coach their team while keeping them accountable and focused on the program’s mission and end results.
- Prior management experience – Proven record of building and maintaining a team of Regional Managers/Directors leading teams of local representatives recruiting volunteer host families, finding school placements, and placing high numbers of exchange students in the United States
- Impeccable organizational and follow up skills
- Strong leadership coaching and conflict resolution skills, and ability to foster a team spirit and effective team collaboration
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Understanding of social media and marketing techniques
- Adaptability – being flexible and able to adjust to changes in the work environment, processes and approach
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Suites (Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) at the minimum; ability to propose, introduce and implement new technological solutions to track work and team performance will be a plus

Responsibilities:
- Build, lead and supervise a team of Regional Directors overseeing other members of field network
- Ensure the team meets their LC and HF recruitment goals and LC Activation benchmarks
- Ensure that the team meets their HSP placement benchmarks and goals
- Provide training, guidance and feedback to the team on placement standards and quality
- Work with the Program Support Team on escalated support cases
- Work with RDs to create a regional development plan & strategy, which includes recruitment, placement and LC activation benchmarks
- Help identify and develop mid-level field leaders (ACs)
- Maintain compliance with Department of State regulations by ensuring RDs are fully trained on program regulations and keep Local Coordinators accountable to providing the necessary documentation for all students placed in the region
- Work closely with other departments through regular email, phone, and Microsoft Teams communication. Provide feedback on policies, processes and help create solutions for any challenges the program faces.

Compensation:
- Salary: $75k + $10k incentive package
