About the Role
Kitsap Credit Union is growing and searching for an Intelligent Workflows Analyst. The Intelligent Workflows Analyst plays a key role in supporting enterprise-wide process transformation efforts. Reporting to the Director of Intelligent Workflows, this role is responsible for conducting process discovery, analyzing operational workflows, and identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and compliance enhancement. The Analyst collaborates across departments to gather insights, document current-state processes, and contribute to future-state designs that align with the credit union’s strategic goals for efficiency, scalability, and member value.

Salary Range: $77,992.80 - $85,000 depending on experience
Bonus Target: 7% potential incentive of base pay
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Principal Accountabilities
Process Discovery & Documentation
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to capture current-state workflows
- Create detailed process maps, swimlane diagrams, and documentation using BPM tools
- Maintain and update the enterprise process inventory in alignment with strategic priorities
Analysis & Insight Generation
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and compliance risks within existing workflows
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to gap assessments led by the Director
- Support cost-benefit analyses and ROI modeling for proposed improvement
Optimization & Automation Support
- Collaborate with automation teams to identify workflows suitable for tools like Power Automate and UiPath
- Assist in defining business requirements and test cases for automation initiatives
- Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend iterative enhancements
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business units to validate findings and co-create future-state designs
- Present insights and recommendations through visual aids such as dashboards and decision trees
- Support change management efforts by documenting impacts and training needs
Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure process documentation aligns with regulatory requirements (e.g., Regulation CC, BSA/AML)
- Benchmark internal processes against industry standards and best practices
- Contribute to the development of governance models and performance metrics
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
- Expertise in organizational design, process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma, and change management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of other process mapping tools (e.g. Miro, Visio).
- Demonstrates a high level of engagement and active collaboration contributing to a positive team environment.
- Understand, model, and represent KCU’s core values.
Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in process analysis, business operations, or workflow optimization
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, Nintex)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications and Education
- Experience in financial services or credit union operations
- Familiarity with automation platforms and BPM methodologies
- Exposure to compliance frameworks and regulatory environments
Supervisory Status
This position does not supervise others.
Working Conditions
This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs
- Constantly positions self in work environment
- The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors, and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions
- Must be able to detect objects at a distance
- On occasion will move up to 20 pounds of office objects
- Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions
