A premier software, research, and consulting firm in the field of industrial-organizational psychology, PDRI designs, develops and implements human resource solutions that incorporate the most recent advances in the behavioral sciences and adhere to the highest principles of professional practice.
 
PDRI is seeking a talented, motivated, senior-level software architect and expert developer to join our development team. This individual will be responsible for leading design, development, testing, and maintenance of microservices built on the MEAN stack and other technologies where appropriate.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Make architectural decisions including selections of libraries, frameworks, cloud platforms, and 3rd party services to leverage
  • Design and develop internal frameworks for the development team to leverage
  • Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high quality software
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to the team 
  • Prepare releases and aide the CloudOps team in DevOps infrastructure
  • Solve complex technical challenges
  • Learn and apply new technologies on a regular basis
  • Communicate complex technical issues at different levels
  • Must be able to work in a team and individually, demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, learn quickly, solve problems and be professional

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • Experience mentoring developers, leading code reviews, and building reference implementations for other team members
  • Experience designing and implementing microservice-base architectures
  • Has a proven track record for designing systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and security
  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing web-based solutions
  • Experience with modern web frameworks including Angular 2+ or React
  • Experience, with NodeJS and Express
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Experience developing RESTful webservices
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Python, NLP, and ML libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Java
  • Experience building solutions on AWS
  • Experience with government and industry security standards and remediating issues identified during security audits
