Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will serve as site project manager and primary customer point of contact and will work with PTFS Leadership to provide delivery of services and ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of contract performance. Provides staff level support to the various processes on the project as needed.
Essential Duties:
Will provide overall management of staff and will support personnel and procedural actions. These may include:
- Oversee contract personnel, ensure resource availability and allocation. Will work closely with PTFS HR to adequately staff the contract.
- Will work closely with PTFS HR to address personnel matters to include input in performance evaluations and troubleshooting issues that may arise.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, and within scope
- Follow-up on yearly contractor mandatory training.
- Bimonthly timesheet approvals Will ensure that staff schedules meet the required support levels.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Ensure that metrics and all contract deliverables meet customer service levels. Provide monthly metrics to COR and PTFS Leadership.
- Will interface with COR team and other government personnel, including participation in customer meetings.
- Provide support to Finance with inputs for invoices.
- Will liaise with proposal teams on proposal development for renewals and expansion of work in the customer environment.
- Will learn the details of each functional area requirements (FOIA/PA, CSA support for Prepublication and resume review, declassification, data accessioning and warehouse records management operations) such that temporary stand-in tasks can be performed should emergency situations occur.
- Will perform CSSO support duties on site specifically securing information on clearance status of candidates and maintaining eCPRLs and communicating any actions that affect the company’s security posture.
- As a senior functional staff member may occasionally support corporate sales and marketing staff in other marketing activities. This could include help scheduling software demonstrations to promote the company’s software and possibly developing opportunities with other Ft. Meade MPO customers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education:
- Top Secret SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and must be able to secure and maintain the requisite clearance.
- 4-6 years’ experience performing project management duties with a preference for experience in one or more of the support areas.
- High School Diploma
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- Supervisory experience, ability to compile weekly statistics from each employee within a team and document any changes in processing that would affect work performance.
- 95% accuracy rate in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Fluency with the Microsoft suite of tools, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Prior experience in one or more fields requiring meticulous creation, preparation, proof-reading or dissemination of documents is required.
- Experience handling classified information and records as well as formatting and processing formal reports.
Working Conditions/Physical Factors:
- The primary location is at customer’s Ft. Meade site. May be required to occasionally meet at corporate headquarters in Rockville MD and accompany sales a and marketing staff to meetings.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
