About the opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated person to join the Outpatient Clinics (OPC) Reception Team at WMH. This role is responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative duties involved in the Outpatient Clinics.  This includes working with the electronic referral system CRM, iPM and QFlow supporting the outpatient journey working closely with the nursing / midwifery and medical teams.  You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

  • 0.7 EFT

  • Fixed Term Contract until September 2026

  • HS1 Classification

  • Flexibility with the roster to cover planned and unplanned leave

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working in a customer facing, fast paced and dynamic environment (essential)

  • Understanding of a patients journey in a public hospital and experience with patient management systems or similar

  • Strong person-centred focus and excellent conflict resolution skills

  • Demonstrated administrative and, Microsoft Office skills

  • A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
