Eptura is seeking an experienced Technical Writer - Archibus Documentation Specialist for a 6 months contract who has a strong technical background—ideally someone who has worked as a developer, implementation consultant, or in a similar technical role—to update and maintain Archibus user and system documentation. This individual will tackle high-priority documentation updates, ensuring our knowledge center remains accurate, relevant, and accessible for both partners and customers.

Eptura is seeking an experienced Technical Writer - Archibus Documentation Specialist for a 6 months contract who has a strong technical background—ideally someone who has worked as a developer, implementation consultant, or in a similar technical role—to update and maintain Archibus user and system documentation. This individual will tackle high-priority documentation updates, ensuring our knowledge center remains accurate, relevant, and accessible for both partners and customers.
You’ll work closely with Developers, QA, and Product Managers, using your deep understanding of complex technical concepts to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain Archibus Knowledge Center content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, QA, and product managers to gather technical information.
- Follow the established Technical Writing Style Guide for consistent, high-quality documentation.
- Work with the Product Engagement Manager to refine and improve the content of the knowledge center.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and accessible for diverse audiences.
About You
- 2–5 years of experience within implementation, development, and/or technical support.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating closely with software developers, QA teams, product managers, and other technical writers.
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, as we run a Documentation Board.
- Familiarity with:
- Revit and AutoCAD
- Microsoft Calendar Resources
- SQL and APIs
- Web development concepts and terminology
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple documentation requests and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Archibus (implementation, development, or technical support).
- Experience in software development, implementation, or a similar technical role.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms for technical documentation; MadCap Flare experience is a bonus.
- Ability to optimize content for both usability and technical accuracy.
- Experience in improving documentation workflows.
