We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Warehouse Supervisor.
This role, you will be involved in organizing teams, work schedules, preparing reports and looking for innovative ways to improve productivity and performance in your assigned department.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
- Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
- Assists with design and implementation of work methods and operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Reviews work processes, recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
- Estimate material, time, and staffing requirements for a given project, based on work orders, job specifications, and experience.
- Examine freight to determine loading and unloading sequences.
- Report nightly Distribution Center productivity metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
- Education: High School Diploma, some supply chain and logistics education preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years working in a warehouse environment with at least 2 years warehouse leadership experience such as a lead or supervisor.
- Have a mastery of basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Proficient in Microsoft, PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare and present materials effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly in person, by phone and via Outlook email
- Able to lead small groups, train subordinates in a consistent manner
- Experience in working with a diverse workforce.
- Experience in working with and developing worksheets
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle employee conflict
- Ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures
- Advanced analytical skills
- Must know how to use Microsoft suite applications such as excel, PowerPoint, word documents
- Experience in working with warehouse management systems such as ORACLE or SAP
- Experience with kaizen events
- Familiar with 5S and LEAN processes
- Experience with developing process improvement plans for assigned area
- Experience with working with multiple staffs within the organization
- Experience with complex outbound operations to include order processing and loading operations
- Experience with inbound operations to include receiving and put-away operations
- Experience with managing material handling fleets and maintaining equipment
- Experience with managing office/administrative personnel
- Manage small projects such as area improvements and small maintenance projects
- Demonstrated ability to train others and maintain safe and efficient work standards by tracking productivity and safety on a daily basis
- Speak, read, write English fluently
- Reading, writing and speaking Spanish is a plus
