We are looking for a Patient Support Representative to join our team and serve as the welcoming connection between our patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting patients and families in person and over the phone with kindness and professionalism. 
  • Coordinating surgical scheduling, pre-op instructions, and follow-up communication. 
  • Verifying insurance coverage, securing pre-authorizations, and explaining patient financial responsibilities. 
  • Registering patients and ensuring all documentation, consent forms, and health histories are complete. 
  • Maintaining accurate records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system. 
  • Supporting patients and families with questions or concerns, and connecting them to clinical staff when needed. 
  • Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to keep daily surgical operations on track.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management   
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting (clinic, hospital, surgical center) preferred. 
  • Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or patient registration preferred. 
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude 
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software
