We are looking for a Patient Support Representative to join our team and serve as the welcoming connection between our patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting patients and families in person and over the phone with kindness and professionalism.
- Coordinating surgical scheduling, pre-op instructions, and follow-up communication.
- Verifying insurance coverage, securing pre-authorizations, and explaining patient financial responsibilities.
- Registering patients and ensuring all documentation, consent forms, and health histories are complete.
- Maintaining accurate records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Supporting patients and families with questions or concerns, and connecting them to clinical staff when needed.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to keep daily surgical operations on track.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting (clinic, hospital, surgical center) preferred.
- Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or patient registration preferred.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software
