About the Role:
Planful is looking for experienced and highly self-motivated Strategic Account Management professionals that have demonstrated a successful track record of building and nurturing long-term relationships with Mid-Market clients, with the ultimate objectives of ensuring they are satisfied with our services, committed to a long term partnership and an increasing $ investment over time.
 
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a territory of established upper mid-market client accounts. Responsibilities will include driving upsell opportunities within the client base to a successful close. This is by actively researching and monitoring the marketplace to find trigger events/market insights as ways to uncover upsell potential. Experience and success in working with internal and external partners is a must.
 
Position Responsibilities:
o Client Upsells
o Proactively reach out with insight driven content
o Regular updating of notes/steps in Salesforce.
o Schedule meetings with key client stakeholders
o Coordinate all client interactions
o Consistently exceed quarterly and annual quotas
o Assist sales and marketing to identify clients willing to assist in references and
marketing events
 
Required Skills and Experience:
o 3+ years successful track record of sales in the enterprise software or software-as-
a-service market selling into an established client base
o Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
o Strong and effective written, oral and telephone skills
o Proven track record of building relationship at all levels of an organization over the
phone, email and social media
o Time management and self-motivation skills
o Results oriented sales professional
o Ability to work as part of a team
o Ability to learn quickly and to adapt easily to change
o Experience with using social media to search contacts and build relationships
o Experience with all Microsoft Office applications
