Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temporary / Per-Diem) will be responsible for supporting our pre-onboarding process, new colleague orientation and attending local job fairs.
This Temporary position will last through the end of the year. With an anticipated 8 - 16 hours per week. When necessary, this position will need to work Monday's from 7:30am - 4:30pm to support New Colleague Orientation.
Pay Rate: $25 - $28/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition support:
- Become our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) expert.
- Manage user login access
- Run weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for executive leadership and other administrative departments.
- Refresh jobs postings.
- Register and track career fairs. Act as a back-up to attend career fairs as needed.
- Maintain active roster database of staff degrees, licenses, and certificates and performs source-one verification of professional degrees/licenses and certificates.
- Provide finance with monthly billing and invoice receipts and allocations.
- Support the pre-onboarding process by setting up and tracking fingerprinting, drug testing, background checks (SCR - LDSS) and license/credential verifications.
- Perform reference checks.
Onboarding support:
- Act as on-site HR representative during New Colleague Orientation to ensure paperwork is completed properly, take ID Badge photos and troubleshoot any issues.
- Run E-Verify for new hires.
- Print new colleague and contractor ID badges
- Confirms new hire orientation itinerary via email and phone calls.
- Ensure all new colleagues are assigned, and complete, required self-paced onboarding trainings, including but not limited to Sexual Harassment, Cultural Competency, and Helio Health Compliance Plan training.
- Supports periodic new colleague check-ins.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, Associate’s degree required.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in human resources preferred.
- Proficient with computer technology including Microsoft Office Suite, and adaptable to applicant tracking system software.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License

Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
