Job Summary
Production Control Manager:
- Responsible for contract review to assure capability to meet customer needs. Responsible for contract scheduling and inventory planning to meet contract requirements. Responsible for planning, directing, placement, replenishment, and systemization through the analysis, implementation and use of store and warehouse inventory management system. Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production activities per contracts and revenue requirements to achieve company goals.
- Update upper management with month sales status.
- Ensure monthly revenues are met per RRP.
- BOM maintenance
- Coordinate raw materials for closure runs.
- Ensure adequate inventory of materials in accordance with production requirements.
- Direct and control shipping and receiving employees to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Ensures compliance to quality initiatives for packaging and shipping.
- Lead, direct, train and manage an inventory team.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed.
- Intermittent conditions such as dust, noise and varying temperatures. Requires varying amounts of walking and standing and lifting.
- LN configuration/key users
- LN daily accuracy check of packed units
- LN release and process batch record production orders (issue actual raw materials)
- LN release monthly PWOs (Production Work Orders)
- LN release shipments to warehouse for QC approval for billing
- LN send payroll list of batch record production orders to charge production hours
- LN simulate production orders once materials are issued for complete orders
- LN update planned delivery dates and activate deliverable
- Maintain ATF log: report daily NC consumption and magazine inventory
- Maintain lot number logs: Experimental, FAAT, R&D, Special, Interfix, Closure paper, test batches, MACS lot interfix, Mortar lot interfix, and Tank lot interfix
- Maintain program yield reports
- Maintain programs contract shipping logs (trackers)
- Maintain programs daily molding monitor
- Maintain programs daily pack monitor
- Maintain programs lot control schedules
- Maintain programs packing schedule
- Maintaining and updating ERP LN system for planning, work order release, material transactions, warehousing data and shipment release.
- Monitor red tag NC for disposal batch
- Plan and coordinate program materials to meet commitments
- Plan monthly production activities per contracts and revenue requirements to achieve company goals.
- Prepare monthly RRP for approval and submittal
- Prepare Mortar closure allocation worksheet
- Prepare NC Surveillance form
- Release cycle count sheets
- Release MACS batch records in Infinity
- Release program batch records: MACS, Mortar, Tank and test records
- Report fiscal Tank Monthly molded and packed quantities to Quality
- Responsible for contract review to assure capability to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for inventory planning to meet contract requirements.
- Review and release LN planned purchase order requisitions
- RFP and contract reviews for scheduling and materials availability
- Schedule NC trucks from ARO to CAO
- Serve as LN key user within supply chain
- Working knowledge of all materials at the site including: quantities, lots, locations, accept/reject status, projected needs, etc.
Qualifications
- Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and inventory control. Must be detail- oriented, an able to work in a high stress environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government

Education/Previous Experience Requirement
- Associate’s degree and 5+ years’ experience minimum.
