As our Sr. National Account Manager (NAM) – MRO Channel, you will be responsible for leading and expanding relationships with key MRO accounts across the nation. Your expertise in account management, sales strategy, and the MRO marketplace will be vital in driving growth, negotiating contracts, and delivering industry-leading service to our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with national clients, including Fastenal, MSC, Northern Tool & Equipment, and Global Industrial. Serve as the primary point of contact and conduct regular business reviews.
- Sales Strategy & Growth – Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and identify new business opportunities.
- Market Intelligence – Monitor trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape strategy and improve product positioning.
- Contract Negotiation – Negotiate and manage agreements with national accounts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with marketing, product development, logistics, supply chain, and customer service teams to align strategies and ensure flawless execution.
- Reporting & Forecasting – Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
- Additional Projects – Take on special projects that support long-term business objectives.
What You Will Bring: Strategy. Partnership. Results.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 5–7+ years of national account management, sales, or business development experience in MRO or a related industry. Proven track record with large accounts is highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the MRO market, trends, and key competitors.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Ability to execute strategic plans, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across functions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) to meet clients and attend events. Remote-based role with periodic HQ visits required.
- Mindset: Adaptability to a dynamic, evolving business environment with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
