Description
This is a liaison position between all business areas with IT. Works closely with these departments to determine reporting, process, and technology requirements for business process improvements. Works with users on software training and in many cases provides administrative support for these departments. Responsible for compiling, analyzing and documenting business data into reports and metric.
Position is a second line support for users on software, computers, printers, phone system, and other networking issues. Individual works on special projects that require organization, data analysis, and unique software support.
Individual must have patience to work through issues, ability to adapt communication skills by user knowledge, personally and location (remote or another country), be able to devise creative solutions to remedy a customer complaint, and ability to deal well with stress and present calm demeanor in stressful situations. Must be extremely detailed oriented.
Position is on-call 24/7 (including holidays) and occasional nights or weekends for special tasks.
Must be very dependable, discrete, trustworthy, think well under pressure, and be highly self-motivated to perform job functions with minimal or no supervision.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Strong ability to communicate with end-users/managers and translate needs into business requirements and analyze technology solutions to solve these requirements
- Experience in managing projects from initial concept through to business justification (ROI, pro/con analysis, process improvement metrics, etc.) to implementation and on-going support of these systems
- Provide problem-solving support to computer users
- Support Customer RelationsMarketing on data-integrity issues
- Data Analysis for data from multiple different systems
- Create teaching tools
- Business Reporting
- Participate in Process Reviews
- Train users in use of equipment and software
- Create forms in Word, Excel, and PDF
- Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions
- Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing
- Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization
- Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance
- Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware
QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
- Strong PC skills
- Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7
- Superior analytical and trouble shooting skills, decision-making ability, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including all MS Office products, SQL Server, SQL Express, and Web Services / XML
- Preferred knowledge of Infor XA ERP, Infor ION Process (workflow), MS SharePoint, and SQL Server Reporting Services or other reporting tools
- Strong project management skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time
- Understanding of technology systems and solutions at an application level
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven systems solution development from design through implementation and on-going maintenance/upgrades
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related curriculum preferred with at least 5 years of proven and successful IT business systems analysis and project management experience.
