About the Role
We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfil the role of an Automotive Parts Return Specialist, who will be responsible for responsible for coordinating, processing, and tracking returned automotive parts from dealerships, service centers, and customers. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with warranty policies, and efficient inventory management while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. The specialist plays a critical role in supporting quality control, minimizing losses, and improving the overall efficiency of the parts return process. This opportunity is open to individuals located in New Holland PA, and/or surrounding areas.
Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier, ETeams, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and process returned parts according to company guidelines and warranty policies, while providing timely updates on status of returns, credits, and warranty claims resolutions
- Accurately log returned items into inventory management systems and maintain accurate inventory counts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for dealerships, suppliers, and customers regarding return policies and procedures
- Assist with audits, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments as required, including resolving discrepancies, shortages, or shipping errors in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the returns workflow
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations for packaging, shipping, and disposal of returned materials
- Collaborate with warranty, quality, and engineering teams to ensure defective parts are documented and evaluated
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods
Deliverables or Project Scope:
- Play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the company’s inventory and warranty processes
- Accurately handle documentation, and routing of all returned parts, ensuring compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate across multiple departments and serve as the primary liaison for external partners regarding returns, credit processing, and warranty claims
- Operate with a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to continuous process improvement
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements
Collaboration Tools or Platforms:
- Use inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP tools)
- ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in parts returns, warranty processing, logistics, or inventory control (automotive industry experience strongly preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, warranty policies, and return procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in warehouse, office, and shipping/receiving environments

Compensation Disclosure
Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer ETeams, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.
As required by law, below you’ll find the reasonable range of compensation ETeams expects to pay for this role if hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply. Compensation Range: $18.00 to $18.00 per hour
