  • Track progress of your tasks to confirm work meets contract requirements, deliverables are on schedule, results are reviewed for quality assurance, and reports/documentation conform with Ayres’ quality standards.
  • Build and maintain respectful working relationships with Project Managers and Ayres leadership.
  • Participate in a mentorship environment with senior engineers

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil/hydraulic/hydrologic engineering from an accredited university is the minimum requirement.  A master’s degree in engineering with emphasis on H&H is preferred.
  • Successfully pass the fundamentals of engineering test (EIT) prior to starting employment at Ayres.
  • Classes that focused on open channel flow, rainfall-runoff processes, and statistical hydrology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiar with ArcGIS and online sources of aerials and topography data.
  • Proven communication skills including great client relationships and a willingness to market services to internal and external clients.
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record.

  • Examples of good work ethic, team participation, and public speaking.
  • Willingness to be located within commuting distance of Ayres’ Eau Claire WI (preferred) or Roseville MN office.  Ayres offers flexible work schedules, but we believe mentorship exchanges and peer-to-peer learning happens best in person.  More variability in work location (hybrid) is given to staff who prove their ability to independently manage time and produce high quality results.
