Position Summary:
At the direction of the Logistics Operations Manager, the Logistics Supervisor works with Procurement, Operations Management and other stakeholders to ensure proper and timely flow of goods to the stores in each geography. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee a warehouse with associated personnel and activities in support of product collection, storage and movement to stores, production, and cross-docking to other warehouses.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:
- Oversees daily logistical activities, including dispatch, and warehouse as required, per the operational plan.
- Responsible for the performance, productivity, and safety of all employees per company policies and/or established standards
- Oversees the forklift training for team members.
- Oversees team members’ time & scheduling, forecasting and allocation.
- Investigates and follows up on all accidents and injury incidents.
- Assists in ongoing communications with team members in a group (e.g., daily/weekly meetings) and individually.
- As applicable, oversee loading/unloading coordination at the warehouse.
- Monitors key performance indicators tracking operational performance.
- Recommends changes to drive improvements within all logistics operations.
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of data collection and reporting and efficiency of operational data management systems.
- May be required to Supervise the warehouse staff in the execution of projects.
- Executes established operational processes and procedures to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensures facility maintenance and security.
- Working knowledge of 5S and Lean principles and ability to apply.
- Participates in department or companywide projects in support of the company goals and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of experience in transportation, distribution, and/or logistics preferred.
- Previous experience leading a team in a warehouse/logistic environment preferred.
- Skilled with data entry utilizing ERP and WMS systems.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check

- Able to pass on site written and driving forklift test.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to complete warehouse-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be capable of working in the elements both inside and outside.
- Participate in required company safety programs, training, and PPE guidelines.
