Band 4 - base salary from $99,189 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience 

 

TasNetworks is powering Tasmania’s future with safe, reliable and sustainable energy. We’re seeking a proactive and organised Executive Assistant and Team Lead to support our Executive Operations and senior leaders in the Operations Business Unit.

As the Executive Assistant and Team Lead, you need to be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipating needs, and using initiative to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support with discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage complex diaries, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and coordinate confidential documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the Executive Leadership Team and stakeholders, building strong relationships and supporting leadership meetings and visits across the Operations group.
  • Lead and coordinate team administration, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Monitor budgets and handle information with the highest level of confidentiality.

 

About you

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll be an experienced executive support professional who is calm under pressure, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. You’ll have:

  • A Diploma in Business Management or equivalent experience in executive administration.
  • Strong background in supporting senior leaders and managing competing demands.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and editing.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • A positive, proactive mindset and focus on customer service.
  • Experience in Field Operations or Service Delivery would be an advantage.
