Job Summary:

We’re hiring a Client Services Coordinator at MPX! We're looking for a self-starter, with exceptional organization and technical skills. This is an entry-level role on a collaborative team at a Great Place to Work–Certified company (again!). Based at our beautiful HQ in Portland, Maine.

Description
The Client Services Coordinator provides day-to-day support for client programs in the healthcare, energy, government, financial services, and insurance sectors. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely execution of client requests, with a special emphasis on overseeing complex special handling requests that require detailed research, as well as monitoring daily file transmissions and approving orders. This is a highly operational role that requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be research savvy, eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to supporting both clients and internal teams.

  

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve complex special handling requests, coordinating with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.
  • Oversee the processing of client orders from data submission through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor daily file transmissions and approve orders to maintain workflow consistency.
  • Serve as a daily point of contact for routine client requests and inquiries.
  • Assist with preparing quotes, specifications, and client reporting.
  • Escalate issues as needed and partner with management on solutions.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams (production, development, and operations) to align on client expectations.  

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Comfortably navigate internal databases to support special handling requests 
  • Interest in learning client servicing processes and industry-specific practices.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume daily activity.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, Outlook, Word) or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated accountability and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.  
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
