Responsible for driving strategic talent consulting and needs analysis, performance management strategy and talent assessment process within the talent cycle. The scope will include directing the implementation of talent activities within the business segments via the global talent development cycle and proactively working with the L&D and HR teams to ensure consistency in process and approach. The role will focus on adding value in the area of talent management, working closely with the business to provide clear guidance on managing talent, pipelines, and succession planning.

The Talent Management Partner, in partnership with the L&D teams and our leadership teams, will ensure the business has the right colleagues with the right skill sets to thrive and meet the company's short-term and long-term strategic objectives.

Essential Job Duties

  • Support the business to ensure talent development, succession planning, and critical talent are a paramount focus.
  • Provide appropriate talent solutions that are tailored to achieve business and talent strategy goals.
  • Analyze talent management data and develop appropriate solutions with a focus on long-term sustainability and added value.
  • Implement process improvements that enable higher organizational efficiency in relation to the business and talent strategy.
  • Collaborate with the L&D Department to reflect talent development needs and create appropriate solutions.
  • Empower business leaders by collaborating on effective development programs, coaching and support that improve team development and drive cultural and employee engagement.
  • Understand the metrics for success and collaborate with L&D teams to develop targeted training and learning opportunities that help teams to deliver on objectives and budgets.
  • Foster a motivated workforce by supporting, measuring and building employee engagement, working alongside senior leadership and communications teams.
  •  Implement talent initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect within a diverse workforce in cooperation with key HR and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct workforce planning to identify critical talent gaps and provide solutions for talent development and mobility.
  • Support the design and implementation of career development frameworks to enable colleague growth.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead the work of others who perform essentially the same work. May set priorities, schedule and review work, but have no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance and/or make pay decisions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent management or HR business partnering, with a strong focus on talent development.
  • Experience in workforce planning, career pathing, succession planning, and talent review processes
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading talent calibration and alignment workshops.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with colleagues, and deliver presentations to departmental or middle management.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect one’s job or assigned functional area.
  • Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays.
