Pricing and Tender Manager (Wien, AT) bei Mondi | Sustainable Packaging and Paper

We are looking for Pricing and Tender Manager in one of our locations in Austria, Germany or Poland.

The IKA Pricing and Tender Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tendering process for International Key Accounts across all regions within the Corrugated Solutions business segment. This role requires expertise in preparing competitive bids, analyzing tender requirements, and ensuring compliance with client specifications while maximizing profitability and securing long-term contracts.

Your mission:

• Lead the end-to-end tender process, including bid preparation, pricing strategies, and submission.
• Coordinate and manage tenders across regions within Corrugated Solutions business segment, ensuring consistency and alignment with different stakeholders, mainly international key account management team and regional tender managers.
• Further development of the central tender management process together with sales leads, finance and regional tender management teams to foster best practices and improve and develop the processes and tools.
• Supporting and driving the development of calculation and tender tools, to improve efficiency and speed in tender execution
• Supporting regional teams in the use of costing tools, including sharing best practices and knowledge
• Ongoing cooperation with key account managers and regional tender management teams to gather necessary information and insights and to streamline the offer preparation process.
• Ensure that offers comply with the company’s internal guidelines and policies

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• Experience in tender management or sales within the packaging industry - corrugated packaging sector.
• Strong understanding of the tendering process.
• Financial acumen and experience with cost analysis and pricing strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English language is a must. Other languages: German, Polish, Turkish would be beneficial.
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency in CRM and tender management systems is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel in the Corrugated Solutions regions (Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech, Turkey) for tender needs and customer negotiations.
