The role?
Aarki is a leading AI-driven mobile advertising platform processing millions of ad requests per second. We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our infrastructure and operations team. In this role, you will drive automation, reliability, and scalability across our globally distributed systems. You’ll design and maintain resilient infrastructure, streamline deployments, and work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to improve velocity and system uptime.

This is a high-impact hands-on role with leadership responsibility: you’ll own automation frameworks, champion observability and SOC2-compliant practices, and guide the team in scaling a platform that powers real-time decisioning at massive scale.

What will you do?

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) 
• Automate deployments and Implement deployment workflows
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code with tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage and scale Linux servers across multiple global data centers.
• Optimize performance and design for disaster recovery, backup, and high availability.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or equivalent).
• Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Implement access controls, and SOC2 compliance measures.
• Automate workflows and third-party integrations using REST APIs.
• Mentor engineers and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and operational documentation.

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or automation engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deep experience with Linux system administration.
• Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise with monitoring and alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and automation of integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Good to have:

• Experience with high-throughput systems (Aerospike, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Professional certifications in cloud, DevOps, or related areas.
