The Role
The ANZ Partnership Manager is a strategic role focused on building and expanding university, industry and government partnerships across Australia and New Zealand to drive student engagement and platform adoption. This position serves as the primary liaison between GradConnection at SEEK and the Higher Education sector, responsible for developing comprehensive partnership strategies, managing relationships with university career services and Career Management System (CMS) vendors, and representing the full SEEK product portfolio to university partners.
The role combines strategic partnership development with hands-on relationship management, offering significant opportunities to contribute to combined GradConnection and SEEK initiatives, and broader organisational strategy. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the Higher Education space with aspirations to influence strategic decision-making and system integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore and develop university, industry and government partnership opportunities across ANZ markets, including identifying institutions and Career Management System (CMS) vendors aligned with GradConnection's strategic objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with university career services, student organisations, and academic leadership to enhance student engagement with SEEK platforms
- Plan and execute Higher Education industry events as part of business development and university relationship management strategy
- Contribute to GradConnection and SEEK strategic planning initiatives, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to inform business direction
- Represent GradConnection and SEEK at Higher Education industry conferences, university career fairs, and networking events across ANZ
- Manage day-to-day university partners and CMS vendors requests, ensuring high levels of service delivery and partnership satisfaction
- Serve as the first point of contact for SEEK and all its products, such as SEEK Pass, Smart Hire, Info Business, and GradConnection to engage with universities and generate partnership interest
- Support GradConnection and SEEK system integrations by leveraging platform knowledge and industry understanding to bridge requirements between Higher Education space and SEEK
- Develop and maintain comprehensive partnership strategies that align with both university objectives and SEEK business goals
- Monitor partnership performance metrics and provide regular reporting on university engagement and platform adoption rates
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of partnership commitments and service excellence
- 4-6 years of partnership development or business development experience, with demonstrated success in building strategic relationships
- Strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand Higher Education landscape, including university career services and student engagement practices
- Experience working with Career Management Systems (CMS) and understanding of university technology integration requirements
- Proven track record in relationship management with ability to influence and collaborate at senior organizational levels
- Experience in event planning and execution, particularly within the Higher Education or graduate recruitment sectors
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple partnerships and initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in representing organizations at industry events and conferences
- Commercial acumen with understanding of partnership models and value creation in B2B environments
- Strategic thinking capabilities with interest in contributing to organizational strategy and system integration initiatives
- Cultural awareness and understanding of ANZ market dynamics and regulatory environment
- Proficiency in CRM systems and partnership management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional team objectives
