The Role
This individual will work as an Assistant in the Brand Consulting department supporting one (1) brand account. This position focuses on marketing and brand partnership opportunities for corporate clients and is most suitable for those with interest in pursuing a career in brand marketing and sports partnerships.
Responsibilities
- General research as required including the sports & entertainment landscape, talent, industry trends, competitors, brands, territories and events
- Presentation preparation including creating, formatting, and proofing PowerPoint and Google Slides decks
- Provide administrative support to accounts team including scheduling, coordinating meetings, correspondence, status reports, note-taking during meetings, updating contact lists, property/talent asset trackers and special projects as needed
- Maintain account finances including budgets, expenses, invoicing, booking reports, check requests, retainer fees, and revenue trackers
- Compile data, analytics, and trends for various topics and projects
- Track and communicate account and partner updates, including monthly dashboards and preparing monthly newsletters
- Liaise with brand clients and brand’s partner properties
- Maintaining various tracking systems, including but not limited to: competitive intelligence, partnership assets (i.e., building/maintaining “asset trackers”), incoming partnership opportunity requests, etc.
- On-site experiential event support (including some nights/weekends) as needed including managing logistics, tracking deliveries, and managing physical assets
- Working with the hospitality team, including managing ticket inventory for client’s partner properties, tracking ticket usage, and receiving/sending tickets to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Business or the equivalent preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in marketing and brand partnerships. Work experience in an ad/marketing agency preferred. Live event experience preferred
- General understanding of current brand consulting industry and the nature of a talent agency
- Interest, knowledge and passion for sports, entertainment and pop culture
- Technologically Savvy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Keynote, Photoshop, Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Slack); social media/digitally versed
- Team-oriented, able to pivot and take on new tasks quickly
- Polished written and verbal skills, including strong at communicating in written format through well-crafted email correspondence
- Curious; able to pull insights and present research
- Ability to listen and ask poignant questions
- Ability to build trust through relationship building, confidence and business acumen

Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
