The Product Development Department supports sales efforts by maintaining and developing F&I products that are sold by our dealer customers. The Senior F&I Product Development Analyst is responsible for reviewing current product performance, creating new products, comparing pricing and coverage with competitors, ensuring compliance, handling vendor relationships and product-related questions, and supporting annual reviews and product launches.
Responsibilities:
In charge of creating new F&I products and launching them. This includes brainstorming ideas, researching, following timelines and plans, collaborating with team members, and working with operational teams. Operational teams will oversee the impact on form creation, setting prices, following rules, processing claims, and overseeing contracts.
In addition to consulting with internal departments and Field Sales Teams, this role requires collaboration with OEM Clients and Strategic Partners.
Learn about the rules and the lending landscape that influence our products. Ability to react and make modifications to maintain compliance.
Be curious to gain a deep knowledge of product design and its attributes.
Continuous evaluation of the competitive landscape for all products.
Work closely with outside vendors to develop new products and/or launch new forms. Understand the relationship between JM&A and our vendors so that any issues can be addressed quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience. Automotive experience is a plus
3+ years of professional experience in the Finance, Insurance, or automotive environment required
Must be detail-oriented and have exemplary organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills
Work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities/deadlines and demonstrate a solid drive for results
Demonstrate analytical and project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion.
Must have the ability to partner within and across departments to complete tasks
Demonstrate strong verbal (public speaking), written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with outside partners
Work well independently with minimal supervision
Highly self-motivated with top-notch problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of JM&A products, systems (mainframe and Sales Connect), Claims, and processes is a plus
