Are you an experienced New Jersey family law litigator ready to step into a leadership position? This role offers the chance to handle complex divorce and custody cases from start to finish, set case strategies, and mentor junior attorneys and staff. You’ll guide families through some of the most important challenges of their lives with both compassion and tenacity.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and litigate divorce, custody, support, and asset-division cases from intake through resolution.

  • Draft pleadings, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in mediation, hearings, and trials.

  • Lead discovery, including reviewing requests/responses, drafting objections, and preparing witnesses.

  • Shape case strategy and supervise paralegals and legal assistants.

  • Conduct regular case-progress reviews with firm leadership.

  • Build referral relationships and contribute to business development in Monmouth County.




What We’re Looking For


Required

  • Active NJ Bar license in good standing

  • 7+ years of full-time New Jersey family law litigation experience

  • Strong writing, oral advocacy, and courtroom skills

  • High emotional intelligence and client-first approach

  • Proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and e-filing



Preferred

  • Experience handling high-asset divorce cases and trials

  • Previous supervisory or mentorship experience



Education & Credentials

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

  • No prior disciplinary record
