Job Purpose
The Application Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and maintaining our proprietary business applications (PVC Connect). This role is responsible for analyzing and resolving user-reported issues, coordinating with development teams on enhancements, and ensuring the reliable performance and continuous improvement of business-critical software systems.

Responsibilities
- Ticket Management: Create, manage, and resolve day-to-day support tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution for both internal and external users.
- User Support & Troubleshooting: Perform initial diagnostics, account setup, and issue documentation; escalate complex problems to technical teams as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Product teams to prioritize tasks, plan enhancements, and support business needs.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain accurate support documentation, knowledge base articles, and provide end-user training on application features and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to process and workflow enhancements while adhering to IT security and compliance standards.

Requirements
- Experience & Education: 1–3 years of related experience required; Associate degree in Information Technology or Business preferred. Prior IT application or general support experience strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software issues across desktops, laptops, and tablets; working knowledge of SQL SSMS, Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate), and Windows environments.
Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workflows, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Tools & Systems: Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Fresh Service; experience with CRM and SharePoint is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Entry-level understanding of commercial construction, facility management, or real estate brokerage preferred but not required.
