ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Director, Enterprise Applications & Analytics is responsible for shaping and scaling the organization’s enterprise applications ecosystem and reporting/analytics capabilities to support long-term business growth. This role will provide strategic direction, build organizational structures that scale effectively, and drive innovation across ERP, CRM, ITSM, and reporting platforms.

In addition to leading the enterprise applications function, the Director will oversee the Reporting & Analytics team, ensuring that the organization has trusted data, actionable insights, and modern business intelligence practices.

As a senior leader, the Director will be accountable for maximizing ROI on enterprise technology and analytics investments, ensuring business alignment, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This individual will be expected to dig deep into applications and data, challenge the status quo, and push the organization to adopt emerging technologies and modern analytics practices that create competitive advantage.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap to support organizational growth and scale.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and application capabilities to drive innovation and improve business performance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure enterprise applications directly enable strategic goals and measurable outcomes.

Team & Organizational Development

  • Build and scale high-performing enterprise applications and analytics teams, creating structures and governance models that support growth.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to develop future leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Applications Ownership & Optimization

  • Oversee ERP (NetSuite), CRM, ITSM (ServiceNow), and related platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Lead enterprise-wide implementations, integrations, and upgrades with a focus on scalability, adoption, and ROI.
  • Drive process automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives across business functions.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across platforms.

Reporting & Analytics Leadership

  • Oversee the Reporting & Analytics team to deliver consistent, accurate, and actionable business intelligence.
  • Establish a data governance framework and reporting standards across the organization.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure reporting and analytics provide meaningful insights that drive decision-making.
  • Guide the adoption of advanced analytics, visualization tools, and predictive capabilities.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Partner with Finance to manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L accountability for enterprise applications.
  • Negotiate and oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing to maximize value.
  • Ensure application spend is optimized and investments are tied to business impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to align applications to business priorities.
  • Serve as a thought partner to functional leaders, challenging them with new possibilities and future capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise tools across the organization, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and collaboration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & INTERESTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 10+ years of experience overseeing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, ITSM), with a track record of scaling platforms in growth-oriented organizations.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing teams and building organizational structures that scale.
  • Deep expertise in ERP (NetSuite preferred), CRM, and ServiceNow, with strong knowledge of integration strategies and platform roadmaps.
  • Experience leading reporting, analytics, or business intelligence teams, including governance and data strategy.
  • Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide digital transformation and process optimization initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with budget planning, cost optimization, and P&L accountability.
  • Experience in high-growth or transformational environments where scaling technology was essential.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, AI/ML, or automation tools to enhance enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to evaluate, adopt, and implement emerging technologies in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

 

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

$170,000$185,000 USD
