Job Title: Training Specialist

Location: Remote (with travel to HQ or other designated locations as needed)

Reports to: Training Director

About Us: At BSF, we are dedicated to enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement. We are looking for two passionate and skilled Training Specialists to join our team and help us achieve our mission. These roles offer the opportunity to work with a diverse team and make a significant impact on our training programs.

Job Summary: The Training Specialist will identify training needs, develop training resources, and lead training events for all BSF leadership positions, both in-person and online. These roles involve designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting training to improve leaders' skills and knowledge. The Training Specialists will work closely with a team of remote HQ staff and field trainers and will be responsible for developing and updating multi-media training resources.  One Training Specialist will support the Men’s Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs for BSF leadership positions.
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop training courses, events, and resources.
  • Provide spiritual encouragement and direction to staff and field personnel.
  • Network with leaders of other ministries, organizations, or churches.
  • Stay informed of the latest training trends and best practices.
  • Lead training events and coach trainees.
  • Provide training for various events, including orientations, conferences, and local leader events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Teaching Leader experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience designing e-learning or navigating online training platforms.
  • Experience providing skill and leadership training to adults across generations.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of the Christian faith and its doctrines
