WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the design and development of modern web applications across both backend and frontend layers. You will apply your expertise in .NET backend technologies, Angular + TypeScript frontend development, and Azure cloud services to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. 

This role requires a combination of hands-on coding, architectural guidance, and team leadership. You will mentor engineers, champion best practices, and help shape the technical vision of the product while ensuring successful delivery within agile teams. 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirements review and solution design to coding, testing, and deployment. 
  • Design and implement robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using .NET technologies. 
  • Integrate frontend and backend systems into cohesive, performant full stack applications. 
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to transform requirements into technical designs. 
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployment. 
  • Drive the adoption of cloud-native approaches using Azure services for scalability and reliability. 
  • Ensure application quality through automated testing, code reviews, and performance tuning. 
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and frameworks to drive innovation. 
  • Mentor team members, fostering technical growth and an excellent engineering culture. 
  • Work with your scrum team to consistently deliver against sprint goals and the Definition of Done

WHAT WE VALUE

Essential (Need to Have) 

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a leading role. 
  • Proven expertise in .NET technologies (C#, Microsoft .NET) with hands-on backend development experience. 
  • Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript 
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services, including: 
  • Azure App Services / Functions 
  • Azure API Management 
  • Azure Service Bus / Event Grid 
  • Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards) 
  • etc 
  • Solid database expertise: 
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (design, optimization, indexing, performance tuning) 
  • Knowledge of data modeling and query optimization 
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design, integration, and security practices. 
  • Deep understanding and application of design patterns and principles (OOP, GoF, SOLID). 
  • Practical knowledge of TDD/BDD and automated testing (frontend + backend). 
  • Experience with peer reviews, code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube), and Git-based workflows. 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience. 

Desirable (Nice to Have) 

  • Experience with Node.js for backend or tooling. 
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWA) and cross-browser compatibility. 
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus). 
  • Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures. 
  • Familiarity with data warehousing or ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse).
