Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance contact for regional management teams, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions
- Build strong relationships with commercial, operations, and functional leaders to drive business performance
- Partner with the APAC Financial Controller to align regional finance priorities and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Partner with APAC leads on monthly reporting and headcount tracking (A vs. B)
- Lead and support the preparation of regional budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
- Provide local on-the-ground support for budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Deliver monthly headcount performance reviews, variance analysis, and actionable insights
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required by market leads to support business decisions
- Own regional financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity
- Develop and track KPIs to measure business performance and prepare the APAC regional performance report
- Support preparation of presentations for senior leadership and board reviews
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and new initiatives
- Assess business cases and capital expenditure proposals to ensure value creation
- Ensure financial controls, policies, and processes are adhered to across the region
- Partner with central finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards
What we are looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Commercially astute, with a track record of driving business performance and supporting growth initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP/BI systems desirable
