Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, we are seeking a Medical Director – Clinical Team Lead whose purpose is to ensure our clinical teams deliver Telehealth Services that align with Wesfarmers Health Values and compliance requirements, InstantScripts Clinical standards as well as external industry standards.  

This role focuses on clinical service management, team productivity optimisation, continuous improvement and specialised portfolio management through direct supervision.  

This position is a 12-month contract role that will you see you working 15 hours per week.  

In addition to this role, you can work as a Telehealth Doctor as an Independent Contractor to supplement your income.  

Work Arrangement 

Location: Melbourne-based hybrid role with remote work flexibility. Regular Melbourne office attendance required for team collaboration and stakeholder meetings.

To be part of this forward-thinking team, you’ll need: 

Essential: 

• MBBS qualification with minimum PGY4 experience 

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions or limitations 

• Hospital experience in complex, fast-paced environments 

• Excellent clinical skills with experience supervising and mentoring medical doctors 

• Clinical incident management experience 

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 

• Sound analytical skills and ability to problem solve in pressurised environments 

• Understanding of telehealth compliance, medico-legal requirements and familiarity with RACGP telehealth guidelines 

• Comfort and proficiency using electronic medical records and digital health platforms.  

Highly Desirable: 

• FRACGP, FACRRM or other medical specialty 

• Business Degree or MBA equivalent 

• Digital health and health platform experience
