The APAC Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to the business, providing financial insight and commercial support to regional leadership teams. The role is responsible for driving performance, enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring alignment between financial objectives and business goals. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for regional management teams, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Build strong relationships with commercial, operations, and functional leaders to drive business performance
  • Partner with the APAC Financial Controller to align regional finance priorities and ensure accurate, timely reporting
  • Partner with APAC leads on monthly reporting and headcount tracking (A vs. B)
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead and support the preparation of regional budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
  • Provide local on-the-ground support for budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Deliver monthly headcount performance reviews, variance analysis, and actionable insights
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required by market leads to support business decisions
Reporting & Performance Management
  • Own regional financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure business performance and prepare the APAC regional performance report
  • Support preparation of presentations for senior leadership and board reviews
Decision Support
  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and new initiatives
  • Assess business cases and capital expenditure proposals to ensure value creation
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure financial controls, policies, and processes are adhered to across the region
  • Partner with central finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards

What we are looking for

 Required attributes: 
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of driving business performance and supporting growth initiatives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP/BI systems desirable
