Financial Institutions Risk Intern 

Internship Period: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026

Job Description:

This position sits within the Financial Institutions Risk team which is part of the International Credit Division. The Financial Institutions Risk is a second line risk unit, that manages the credit risk of the bank’s portfolio across the Banks, Sovereigns, Insurance, Funds, and Diversified Financials client segments. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modelling, and also partner with various internal stakeholders to drive a key growth pillar for the Bank.

The incumbent will:
•    Assist in the preparation and analysis of credit risk reports.
•    Support the team in conducting credit assessments and due diligence on new and existing clients.
•    Help in monitoring and evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and counterparties.
•    Participate in the development and enhancement of credit risk models and tools.
•    Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
•    Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving credit risk management processes.
•    Gain exposure to credit risk management practices and methodologies.
•    Develop a deeper understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment.
•    Enhance your skills in data analysis and financial modeling.

Job Requirements:

•    Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
•    Keen eye for detail and proficiency in MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
•    Attention to detail and desire to deliver high-quality outputs
•    Ability to work under strict timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•    “Can-do” attitude and ability to learn new topics quickly
•    Strong written and spoken English proficiency is needed.
•    Be a trusted partner, who can collaborate across regions/ teams to deliver best-in-class results
•    Work independently and within teams to drive success for the organization
