Position Summary: To lead operations to maximize financial success and achieve short and long-term business objectives. Build strong franchise and support department relationships and effectively manages the FBC team.
Responsibilities:
- Works through the FBC’s to protect the brand by maintaining high standards of operation.
- Ensures high levels of operations consistency within the region.
- Ensures proper communication and collaboration within the team and franchise community.
- Builds and maintain strong relationships with the Franchise community.
- Builds a highly effective team of FBC’s through proper hiring, training and development initiatives.
- Communicates and follows corporate strategies to develop and execute business plans.
- Build reports, presentations, analysis for the region to support all areas described above.
- Ensures all food safety procedures are executed according to Company policies and health/sanitation regulations; takes corrective actions, as appropriate across 10 locations in the Columbus market
- Participates in the Area's restaurant planning process, including the development and implementation of the Area's business plans and budgets to ensure Charleys growth and development in the territory. Working closely with Development staff
- Maximizes area sales objectives versus budget and prior year, and provides leadership and direction to subordinates for achievement of their assigned district sales objectives; works close with marketing partners to implement marketing plan and monitor market conditions to increase customer count growth
- Deliver Customer Experience through delivering on the Charleys 7 objective and effective management/evaluation of Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value and other related programs in the Area.
- Performs other job duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred and / or minimum five years of prior managerial restaurant experience is required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in operations management, including Director level experience
- Must have a thorough understanding of operating and management techniques as they apply to the restaurant industry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to effectively train, coach, evaluate, and discipline employees. Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in the English language.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests with the goal of obtaining cooperation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, Word) is required.
