Salary: $120 - $150k annually (with an annual 10% bonus)

Location: Dallas, TX and surrounding area

 

Position Summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and services. This role does not include direct reports but requires strong vendor management skills to oversee our Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will be proactive, solution-oriented, and experienced in supporting a mobile workforce and distributed operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters across the organization.
  • Manage the relationship with the external MSP to ensure timely support, system reliability, and security.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, endpoints, and business-critical applications.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.
  • Support mobile workforce technologies (e.g., field service apps, GPS tracking, mobile device management).
  • Coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and integrations.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and service levels provided by the MSP.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technology with business needs.
  • Manage IT budgets and spend as well as recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of all company hardware, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, networking equipment, and peripherals.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT operations or management, preferably in service-based or field operations industries.
  • Proven experience managing external IT vendors or MSPs.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management and field service platforms (specifically Intune and Apple Business Manager)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in pest control or similar field service industries.
  • Familiarity with platforms like FieldRoutes.
