Description

ActioNet is hiring for a System Administrator/Operator in Jacksonville, FL. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1–2 support for Local Core Infrastructure (LCI), including system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise servers and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, enterprise applications, and hardware to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
• Support account provisioning, Active Directory administration, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and integration into the Military Joint Active Directory (mJAD).
• Perform software installations, system imaging, and patch management in alignment with SCCM/MECM baselines.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining STIG compliance and ensuring systems remain within approved security configurations.
• Support RMF ATO documentation requirements in coordination with the local Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
• Troubleshoot network, application, and system issues; escalate to higher-tier support or enterprise services when required.
• Document system changes, configurations, and processes in accordance with DoD standards.
• Support IG inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordination of Authorized Scheduled Interruptions (ASI) wit DoD.
• Provide end-user support, including printer mapping, hardware replacements, and software upgrades.

Required Job Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Operator supporting enterprise IT environments, preferably DoD networks.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory administration, user account management, and GPOs.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM, patch management, and system imaging.
• Familiarity with DoD STIGs, RMF, and system hardening practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with servers, desktops, and enterprise applications.

Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security).
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified.
• CompTIA Network+ or Server+.
