The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Staffing team. Their primary focus will be greeting candidates and managing the front desk in the staffing area.
This position is 100% onsite at our Edina HQ office, and the schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily office tasks such as answering phones and greeting applicants in a timely and professional manner.
- Administers candidate pr-employment drug tests and other required client testing.
- Complete onboarding paperwork with new hires, including Doherty Staffing Solutions paperwork and any client specific onboarding paperwork.
- Communicate with candidates regarding start dates, check-in, as directed by the Service Manager or Area Operations Manager.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Attends periodic training to maintain skills and develop new ones.
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED and two years of administrative or customer service experience
