Job Description:We’re hiring under a newly created role, Senior Data Scientist, to join our Insights team and build the brains behind our dashboards. You’ll be hands-on in developing machine learning models that transform raw data into valuable business outcomes, like predicting member churn, forecasting class demand, or segmenting behavioral patterns.
This role sits at the intersection of data science and product, contributing directly to the future of Mariana Tek’s analytics offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Support our goals of delivering best-in-industry data and standardizing our data practices
Build and refine predictive models for member churn risk, class booking behaviors, and member segmentation and trends
Prototype intelligent dashboard features such as forecasting and benchmarking, smart recommendations (e.g. class suggestions or price change triggers), risk and opportunity alerts
Enrich internal models by linking external data sources (e.g. weather, location data) to studio performance
Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to productize models, monitor performance, and iterate based on results
Stay up to date with advances in ML/AI, testing new ideas that could bring value to our customers
About You
5+ years in a data science, ML engineer, or similar role, ideally in a product-led environment
Proven experience deploying predictive models in production
Proficient in Python (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas) and SQL
Comfortable with cloud data platforms like Snowflake and AWS
Ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Bonus points for experience in fitness, wellness, or consumer behavior domains

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $140,000 to $155,000
May be considered for a discretionary bonus
