South Carolina Recovering Professional Program (RPP) is committed to protecting the public's safety through the early identification of impaired health professionals who need assistance and the return to safe practice through appropriate referral and effective monitoring, rehabilitation, and recovery.  SCRPP is a confidential referral and monitoring program designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists and other licensed health professionals in South Carolina with alcohol or substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, job related burnout, boundary issues, or any other mental related condition or disorder which has the potential to interfere with or impede the ability to safely and effectively treat patients.

A Data Coordinator will manage and organize data and outcomes of the South Carolina Recovery Professional Program (SCRPP) and ensure its accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. This position will work with databases, reports, and other data-related tools to support decision-making and analysis. The Data Coordinator will work primarily with the Office Manager, but will provide assistance to Program Director, Medical Director, Special Counsel, and Recovering Professional Coordinators. Individuals in this role must display a high level of professionalism, organization, and time management in their interaction with staff, our participants, our partners, referral sources, and the various boards with whom they interact. It is expected that the Data Coordinator act as the primary liaison for our case management system, Recovery Trek. Must have the ability to analyze data to identify trends and patterns.


Position Logistics

  • Part-time (up to 29 hours per week). Flex time available upon management approval. Ability to work remotely with management approval upon successful completion of probationary period.
  • Hiring Range: $26.11 - $33.94 per hour 

 

Minimum Education and/or Experience


  • Associates degree in business, data, analytics, or related field with at least two (2) years of experience analyzing data, creating presentations summarize data OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • Consideration will be given to students enrolled in a bachelor’s program who have related internship experience.


Position Overview

 

  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Provides direct assistance to Office Manager, Recovering Professional Coordinators, Program Director, Special Counsel, and Medical Director as needed.
  • Collect data from case management system, ensure its accuracy and consistency. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Box.
  • Audit files in case management system to ensure all fields are complete and accurate. Ensures all data is organized.
  • Assist Office Manager in providing data for the purposes of quarterly and yearly reporting of stats to the various boards, LLR, and stakeholders. Assist with PowerPoint presentations and statistical reports.
  • Assist staff with technical support of the case management system.
  • Direct liaison for the case management system, to troubleshoot technical issues, provide training to the staff on new functionality of the system.
  • Must be familiar with or able to adhere to confidentiality laws; 42 CFR part 2, have knowledge of data privacy, and security protocols.
  • Assist in website coordination with Communications Director.
